Winter Storm Nacio, the third winter storm in five days to affect the Northeast, is bringing pockets of locally heavy snow to parts of the Ohio Valley, Appalachians and mid-Atlantic states Tuesday. Winter storm warnings are posted for parts of southern Pennsylvania, southern Ohio and the higher peaks of the Appalachians. Winter weather advisories, generally for lighter snow accumulations, stretch from northeast Alabama and far north Georgia to southern Connecticut and Long Island.

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a coastal Flood Warning... which is in effect until
midnight EST tonight. The coastal Flood Advisory is no longer in
effect.

* Tidal anomaly... 2.5 to 3 feet above normal.

* Expected impacts... water approaches parts of the Hains Point Road.
