... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 5 am EST
Wednesday...

* locations... the lower Hudson Valley... and much of interior
southern Connecticut.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches... along
with around a trace of ice.

* Timing... snow develops late this afternoon... then mixes with
sleet and freezing rain tonight before a changeover to rain.

* Impacts... snow covered surfaces... coated with ice... will make
traveling difficult at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
