... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to 10 am EST Wednesday...

* locations... the lower Hudson Valley... most of southern
Connecticut... and parts of northeast New Jersey.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches... along with
around a tenth of inch of ice or less.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

* Timing... snow develops late this afternoon... then mixes with
sleet and freezing rain tonight before a changeover to freezing
rain late at night.

* Impacts... snow covered surfaces... coated with ice... will make
traveling difficult at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
