Statement as of 5:02 AM MDT on March 19, 2010
... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am MDT
Saturday...
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am MDT Saturday.
* Timing... through tonight.
* Snow accumulation... 6 to 18 inches.
* Winds... gusty northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph early today will
shift to northeast by midday... and then diminish early this
evening.
* Impacts... roadways will be icy and snowpacked. Gusty winds may
produce local areas of blowing and drifting snow over high
exposed terrain.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. Strong winds and blowing snow are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
