drainage areas in...

western Arapahoe County in northeast Colorado
southwestern Adams County in northeast Colorado
southern Denver County in northeast Colorado
including western Aurora... southwestern Commerce City... Denver...
Englewood... southeastern Lakewood... Littleton... western
Centennial... Chatfield Reservoir and Sheridan.
* Until 1030 PM MDT
* at 900 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain from thunderstorms over the Denver Metro area. These
storms are moving northeast at 15 mph
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Excessive runoff from this storm will cause minor flooding of small
creeks and streams... urban areas... highways... streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
