Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 4:05 AM MST on November 14, 2009
... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 PM MST Sunday...
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5 PM MST Sunday.
Snow will decrease in intensity this morning before picking up
again this afternoon and evening as the next storm system reaches
the area. Snow will continue tonight and then taper off from west
to east on Sunday. Expect total snow accumulations to range from 8
to 16 inches with locally higher amounts by late Sunday afternoon.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. Strong winds and blowing snow are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.

Statement as of 4:45 am MST on November 14, 2009
... Record precipitation amount set yesterday... In western Colorado, At 4 miles southwest of Craig, the 24 hour precipitation amount, ending at 8 am Friday, November 13 of 0.76 inches, set a new record for November 13. This broke the previous record of 0.50 inches, set in 2000.
