Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 4:27 AM MST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to
5 am MST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 2 PM this
afternoon to 5 am MST Wednesday.

* Timing... snow will become more widespread in the foothills this
morning... and may be heavy at times this afternoon and tonight.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 10 inches.

* Wind/visibility... west to northwest winds at 20 to 35 mph this
morning will become northeast at 15 to 25 mph this afternoon and
diminish tonight. Visibility will be less than a quarter mile in
some places during periods of heavy snow... and also in windier
areas this afternoon... mainly near the Wyoming border.

* Impacts... roads will become snowpacked and icy and there will
be areas of low visibility in blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
