... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 PM this evening
to 6 am MST Saturday...
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 PM this evening
to 6 am MST Saturday.
Snowfall is expected to begin in earnest over the northern
mountains later this evening... spreading southward across the
central and southern mountains during the remainder of tonight
and Friday morning. Snow may become heavy at times with some
blowing and drifting possible with frontal passage. Total
snowfall accumulations of a foot or more are likely by early
Saturday morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. Strong winds and blowing snow are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
