... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this
evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Colorado... east central Colorado... north
central Colorado and northeast Colorado... including the
following areas... the Front Range foothills...
Douglas... Elbert... and northern Lincoln counties.

* Until 9 PM MDT this evening

* rain will be widespread this afternoon... then decrease from
south to north this evening. Localized heavy rainfall in a few
places could produce 1 to 2 inches of rain in 2 to 3 hours.

* Flooding of small streams... gulches and roadways is possible
along with rock and mud slides in the foothills.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
