Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 8:28 AM MDT on May 05, 2015

... Dense fog advisory in effect until noon MDT today...

The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until noon MDT today.

* Visibility... widespread visibilities of a quarter mile or
less... as low as a hundred yards in some places... especially on
ridges.

* Impacts... low visibilities will require slower speeds for
drivers. Be sure you can see at least four seconds ahead of your
vehicle. Use low beam headlights for the best visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
