Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 11:16 PM MDT on July 07, 2015

... The Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until
100 am MDT for north central Mesa County...

At 1111 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain due
to thunderstorms continuing over the Cameo area and the streams
northwest of Cameo.

The runoff from this rainfall will cause minor flooding in small
streams and across roads. Local mud and rock slides are also
possible.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cameo... Jerry creek... and Interstate 70 near Cameo.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... as well as farm and country roads. Do not
attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.
