Periods of snow. Snow may be heavy at times in the afternoon. Snow accumulation of 5 to 6 inches. Near steady temperature near 30. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.
Mostly cloudy. Snow likely until midnight...then slight chance of snow after midnight. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Lows 12 to 22. North winds up to 10 mph becoming west around 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM MST this evening.
This Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Sangre de Cristo and Wet Mountains... the Wet Mountain Valley... and the Interstate 25 corridor from south of Pueblo to the New Mexico border.
Snow will spread across the area early this morning... with moderate to heavy snow from mid morning into the late afternoon. Snowfall amounts of 6 to 8 inches across the lower elevations and 8 to 12 inches across the mountains are expected... with the heaviest snow falling along the favored northeast facing slopes of the Wet Mountains. Gusty north to northeast winds may cause reduced visibilities in blowing and drifting snow at times... especially this afternoon.
