The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
north central Mesa County in west central Colorado...

* until 100 am MDT

* at 957 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Cameo... and along Jerry and Spring creeks... including Interstate
70 near Cameo.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Heavy rainfall will cause ponding of water on roadways... minor mud
and rock slides... possibly affecting Interstate 70. Do not attempt
to travel across flooded roads.

Excessive runoff will cause minor flooding of small creeks and
streams... as well as ranch and country roads. Do not attempt to
travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
northwestern Mesa County in west central Colorado...

* until 1015 PM MDT

* at 813 PM MDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms moving slowly thorugh the Mack and Loma vicinities.
This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in the advisory
area... which includes Interstate 70 and Highway 6 and 50 near Mack
and Loma.

Up to one and a half inches of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Loma... Mack... Interstate 70 and Highway 5 and 50 near Loma and
Mack.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... dont drown. Never drive your vehicle into areas where
the water covers the roadway.

Heavy rainfall will cause ponding of water on roadways... as well as
minor flooding of small creeks and streams... and range and country
roads. Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate
routes.
