Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 9:39 PM MST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 am MST
Wednesday...

* timing... snow will gradually decrease from north to south across
the Denver Metro area after midnight... but some snow may linger
on the Palmer Divide into Wednesday morning.

* Storm total snow accumulation... 2 to 5 inches... heaviest near
the foothills.

* Wind/visibility... northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. The heavier snow
this evening may reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less for
a brief time.

* Impacts... roads will be snowpacked and icy. Expect a slick and
slow Wednesday morning commute. Allow extra time to reach your
destination safely.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
