232 and 233. This includes the San Luis valley... the Interstate 25
corridor region... Crowley... Otero and eastern Las Animas County...

The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for gusty winds and low relative humidity... which is in
effect from Wednesday afternoon into early Wednesday evening.

* Affected area... fire weather zones 224... 226... 227... 228...
229... 230... 231... 232 and 233.

* Winds... west to southwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to
35 mph.

* Relative humidity... 10 to 15 percent.

* Impacts... any fire that starts will have the capability to
spread quickly.

The high temperature in Alamosa Monday was 71 degrees. This breaks
the old record high for March 30th of 70 degrees... set in 1943.

Mondays new record Marks the fourth consecutive day of tied or
broken record high temperatures in Alamosa.
