...Red flag warning remains in effect until 8 PM MDT this evening for gusty winds and low relative humidity for fire weather zone 224 and fire weather zones 226 through 237...which includes the San Luis valley...the Interstate 25 corridor and all of the southeastern Colorado plains...

* affected area...fire weather zones 224...226...227...228... 229...230...231...232...233...234...235...236 and 237.

* Winds...west 15 to 25 mph with wind gusts up to 35 mph.

* Relative humidity...as low as 9 percent.

* Impacts...extreme fire behavior with rapid rates of fire growth and spread can be expected with any fire starts.
