Statement as of 4:15 AM MST on January 31, 2015

...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM MST this evening...

* timing...snow will continue intermittently through this evening.

* Snow accumulation...4 to 8 inches.

* Winds...south to southeast 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast tonight.

* Impacts...roads will be slushy and snow packed especially highways 550 and 145 through the San Juan Mountains. Heavy snow may restrict visibility at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
