Freeze Warning
Statement as of 2:29 PM PST on November 14, 2009
... Freeze warning in effect from 2 am to 7 am PST Sunday...
The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
freeze warning... which is in effect from 2 am to 7 am PST Sunday.
The freeze watch is no longer in effect.
Temperatures will fall into the middle 20s late tonight and
persist for a few hours. Freezing temperatures with readings in the
middle 20s will likely occur again Sunday night.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures reach and fall
below 28 degrees for at least two hours are imminent or highly
likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive
vegetation.
