Statement as of 5:14 PM PST on December 15, 2009 Subject: hazardous weather outlook /hwo/ to be issued daily Beginning December 16 2009 ... the Eureka weather forecast office /WFO/ will begin issuing a hazardous weather outlook /hwo/ at least once per day. The hazardous weather outlook will serve as a one stop source for potential winter weather... fire weather... non precipitation events... convective weather... or flood hazards. The hazardous weather outlook will be issued at least once per day between 4:00 am and 6:30 am. The hazardous weather outlook will be issued even if no hazardous weather is expected to provide an expedient method to confirm that no hazardous weather is expected.
