The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 6 am Sunday to 2 PM PST
Monday. The Wind Advisory for this afternoon has been cancelled.

* Winds and timing... northeast winds will weaken this afternoon.
Northeast winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35
mph again by tomorrow morning. Northeast winds may strengthen
slightly tomorrow evening through Monday morning... when gusts to
40 mph will be possible. The strongest winds for the coastal
areas of Los Angeles County will occur below passes and canyons
between Malibu and the Hollywood Hills.

* Impacts... gusty winds will make driving difficult... especially
for drivers of high profile vehicles.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

When driving... use extra caution. Be prepared for sudden gusty
cross winds.

Fire Weather Watch
Issued: 2:37 PM PST Feb. 6, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Fire Weather Watch in effect from Sunday evening through
Monday afternoon for wind and low relative humidity for the
Ventura County valleys and coast as well as the San Fernando
Valley... the foothills above the San Gabriel valley and Los
Angeles County coast between the Hollywood Hills and Malibu...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low relative
humidity... which is in effect from Sunday evening through Monday
afternoon.

* Winds... northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Relative humidity... daytime minimums will fall to between 10 to
15 percent. Isolated locations may see the single digits.

* Impacts... if fire ignition occur... conditions could be favorable
for extreme fire behavior which would threaten life and
property.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Please advise the appropriate officials or
fire crews in the field of this Fire Weather Watch. Listen for
