* Winds: today... southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Tuesday... southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* Wave heights: today... 2 to 3 feet with the highest waves along the East Shore. Tuesday... 2 to 4 feet with the highest waves along the East Shore.
* Small boats and kayaks will be prone to capsizing and should remain off lake waters until lake conditions improve.

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a red flag warning... which is in effect from 11 am to 11 PM PDT Tuesday.
Strong gusty winds are expected to occur Tuesday afternoon and evening across Lassen County south to eastern Sierra County. West winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph are forecast to combine with afternoon humidity of 10 to 15 percent south of a line from Bogard and Eagle Lake. North of this line... minimum humidity should be above 15 percent. With fuels rapidly drying across the area... the increasing winds will become conducive to rapid fire growth.

Southwest to west winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph are forecast to combine with afternoon humidity of 5 to 10 percent. With fuels rapidly drying across western Nevada and eastern California... the increasing winds will become conducive to rapid fire growth.
Gusty southwest winds are forecast again Wednesday afternoon and evening with winds of 15 to 20 mph and gusts to 35 mph as relative humidity drops below 15 percent.
