... Showers and thunderstorms will continue until early evening...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue from the Tahoe basin
northward into Plumas and Lassen counties through early evening.
Stronger storms will be capable of producing hail up to penny
size... wind gusts to 40 mph... along with occasional lightning and
locally heavy rainfall. Storms have generally shown a very slow
movement to the north or northwest.

Motorists should slow down where visibility drops in heavy
rainfall or where water ponds on roadways. If on a lake and a
storm approaches... seek shelter off the lake.
