Statement as of 3:29 AM PST on November 14, 2009 ... Cool nights in store for the valley this weekend... An upper level low pressure area will spread cool and dry air into the San Joaquin Valley today... then linger into Monday morning. There is some potential for patchy frost along the Highway 198 corridor including Lemoore... Hanford and Visalia. Temperatures will be right around 32 for a couple of hours tonight and Sunday night. The rest of the valley... especially the south end will remain above 32 tonight and Sunday night. If you have frost sensitive interests... you should monitor the latest forecasts. Be prepared to take protective measures should an early season frost occur this weekend... especially in rural areas. Weather.Gov/Hanford
