The National Weather Service in Oxnard has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for The Springs fire burn area.

* Until 900 PM PST

* at 752 PM PST... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued
to indicate moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms moving
across The Springs fire burn area... with rainfall rates up to half
an inch per hour. This rainfall in addition to what has already
fallen... will result in continued runoff... flash flooding... and
debris flows.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Residents and motorists in and below recently burned areas should be
alert to flash flooding and debris flows which may block roads and
culverts.
