	Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:40 PM PST on November 10, 2009 ... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 PM Wednesday to 10 am PST Thursday... The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow... which is in effect from 4 PM Wednesday to 10 am PST Thursday. Snow will be possible over the higher terrain... above 6500 feet by Wednesday afternoon. Snow will increase Wednesday night into Thursday morning becoming moderate to heavy at times. Snow levels will lower to 3000 to 4000 feet by Thursday morning. Accumulations up to 4 inches will be possible above 6000 feet with up to 2 inches above 4000 feet. In addition... southwest wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible over the higher terrain Wednesday night. Snow will decrease Thursday morning with scattered snow showers possible into Thursday afternoon. A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that motorists should be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities due to a combination of falling and blowing snow. Use caution when driving... especially in open areas.
