... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM PDT this
afternoon above 5000 feet...

* snow accumulations: an additional 2 to 5 inches.

* Elevation: above 5000 feet.

* Timing: heaviest snow will taper off this morning. Light snow
showers will continue at times through this evening.

* Locations include: Lassen National Park... Blue Canyon... Donner
Pass... Echo Summit... Carson Pass.

* Winds: southwest 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Impacts: snow will create slick and icy roads... especially
Saturday morning. Travel delays are possible across the Sierra
with chain restrictions likely.
