A Wind Advisory remains in effect from 4 am early this morning to midnight PST tonight for the High Desert of San Bernardino County. * Timing... 4 am through midnight. * Winds... wind speeds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph are possible. * Impacts... travel will be difficult along interstates 15 and 40. Blowing dust may also reduce the visibility around Dry Lake beds. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 mph and... or wind gusts of 40 to 57 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. |
