Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move south at 10 to 15 mph through 2 PM. As of 1130 am...the strongest storms were over the 215 freeway north of Murrieta moving toward Temecula. These storms have a history of producing hail up to one half inch in diameter and heavy rain. All thunderstorms this afternoon will be capable of producing brief heavy rain...small hail...dangerous lightning...and gusty winds. Precipitation amounts will generally range from a trace in most areas up to one quarter of an inch with thunderstorms.
