Freeze Warning
Statement as of 2:15 PM PST on November 15, 2009
... Freeze warning in effect from 2 am to 8 am PST Monday...
The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
freeze warning for the San Luis Obispo County valleys. This
warning is in effect from 2 am to 8 am PST Monday. The freeze
watch is no longer in effect.
Clear skies will allow the air mass to cool below freezing between
11 PM tonight and 1 am early Monday morning. Temperatures will
drop to the lower to mid 20s around 2 am Monday... with sub-
freezing temperatures and hard freeze conditions persisting
through 8 am Monday morning.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures reach and fall
below 28 degrees for at least two hours are imminent or highly
likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive
vegetation.
