* Flash Flood Warning for...
San Bernardino County in Southern California...

* until 530 PM PDT

* at 130 PM PDT... Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding will likely begin
shortly.

* Some locations that will likely experience flooding include...
Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley... and portions of highways 18 and
247.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property. Do not attempt to cross
swiftly flowing waters or waters of unknown depth by foot or by
automobile.

... The Flood Advisory remains in effect until 345 PM PDT for San
Bernardino County...

At 142 PM PDT... Doppler radar continued to indicate heavy rain due
to thunderstorms in the area. A Flash Flood Warning has been issued
for relatively the same area as this advisory. Please refer to the
Flash Flood Warning for additional details on this storm and
flooding.

Some locations that will experience flooding include... Apple Valley
and Lucerne Valley... and portions of highways 18 and 247.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.

north central San Bernardino County in Southern California...

* until 430 PM PDT

* at 134 PM PDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms over the New York Mountains. This will cause minor
flooding of roads in the advisory area including Brant Cima
Road... Ivanpah Road... Morning Star mine Road and Nipton Road.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
