... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Saturday afternoon
through Monday afternoon...

* locations... the mountains of Los Angeles... Ventura and Santa
Barbara counties.

* Hazard types... snow... blowing snow... lightning and poor
visibilities.

* Snow accumulations... 8 to 16 inches of snow could fall across
elevations above 5500 feet by Monday morning. Lesser
accumulations are possible above 4000 feet.

* Timing... a chance of showers will develop later Friday night.
The chance of showers will increase through the day Saturday.
Showers will be likely Saturday night and Sunday. Shower
activity should start to diminish later Sunday evening into
Monday morning. A slight chance of thunderstorms will develop
Saturday afternoon and last into Sunday.

* Impacts... snow could affect travel on the I-5 and the I-14
late Saturday night through Monday morning.

* Visibilities... snow... blowing snow and fog could restrict
visibilities to a quarter mile or less.
