A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 am PDT Thursday for the
Kern County mountains and deserts.
* Winds: west to northwest winds gusting up to 55 mph at times
through Thursday morning. The strongest wind gusts will
occur between 800 PM PDT tonight and 300 am PDT Wednesday
morning.
* Locations include: Highway 14... 58... U.S. Route 395...
Mojave... California City and Inyokern.
* Impacts: strong cross winds on Highway 14 could make driving
difficult for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust will also
be possible at times with reduced visibility.
