... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 10 am this morning
to 7 PM MST this evening above 6000 feet...

* timing... precipitation will increase through the early morning
hours with rain expected to change over to snow by late morning
when a cold front arrives. Periods of heavy snow will continue
through this evening before decreasing.

* General event total snow accumulations... 4 to 10 inches above
6000 feet elevation with amounts over a foot above 8500 feet.

* Snowfall forecast from 10 am MST today until 7 PM MST this
evening...

Statement as of 4:21 AM MST on March 02, 2015

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has extended the

* small stream Flood Advisory for...
portions of Oak Creek in south central Coconino County and
east central Yavapai County...

* until 1100 PM MST Monday

* at 406 am MST... rain showers will continue over the Oak Creek
drainage early this morning... with steady rainfall developing
from around 8 am through the afternoon. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected today. High flows will
continue through Oak Creek today and tonight.

Sedona at tlaquepaque... . 7.2 ft rise to 8.4 feet by 6 PM today
                                       then slowly fall

Cornville... ... ... ... ... . 7.6 ft rise to 8.9 ft by 9 PM today

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Expect low river crossings in Oak Creek Canyon and around the Page
Springs and Cornville areas to become impassable at times due to
fluctuations in the creek level along Oak Creek.

Live stock and trailers near Oak Creek... may need to be move to
higher ground.
