Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed Friday across northern Arizona on Friday. These storms slowly moved to the southwest and produced locally heavy rain. A few of these storms possibly had large hail.
A small stream flood advisory was issued at 135 MST PM for an area south of Parks in the headwaters of Sycamore Creek and volunteer wash.
An urban and small stream flood advisory was issued at 403 PM MST for north central Gila County including the area from Payson to Forest Lakes and south to Young. A weather spotter in Tonto Village reported 1.32 inches of rain in a hour.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued at 455 PM MST for nickle sized hail over east central Yavapai County including Camp Verde.
An urban and small stream flood advisory was issued at 527 PM MST for an area from Camp Verde to Strawberry including west Clear Creek... Fossil creek... and Strawberry creek.
