At 545 PM MST National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated that thunderstorms continued to redevelop and move across the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of up to one-half inch are possible this evening. The heaviest rainfall and greatest threat of small stream flooding this evening is bounded by an area between Ash Fork... Cordes Junction... Cross Mountain... and Kirkland.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on small creeks... streams... and normally dry washes. Low water crossings may be impassable and ponding of water may occur on rural roadways. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
