The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southeastern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...
northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
southwestern Graham County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 1030 PM MST

* at 828 PM MST... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
an area of showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall
across northeastern Pima County... southeastern Pinal County and
southwestern Graham County. Movement of these showers and
thunderstorms was to the east at 10 mph. Doppler radar rainfall
estimates have been to near 1.50 inches during the past hour... or
since 730 PM MST. The heaviest rainfall estimates were in the
vicinity of Oro Valley in northeast Pima County... and just west of
Oracle in southeast Pinal County.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Advisory means river... wash or stream flows are elevated... or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
Do not attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.
It takes only a few inches of swiftly flowing water to carry vehicles
away.

Tucson Airport recorded its 82nd consecutive day in which the low
temperature was 70 degrees or warmer. This broke the previous record
of 81 days which occurred in 2013. The Table below shows the top 5
longest consecutive day streaks of low temperatures being 70 degrees
or warmer.

1) 82 days in 2015 /June 10th to August 30th/
2) 81 days in 2013 /June 7th to August 27th/
3) 75 days in 2014 /June 8th to August 22nd/
4) 74 days in 1977 /June 24th to September 6th/
5) 64 days in 1996 /June 29th to August 31st/
