... It was a noisy night in Arkansas... Many people in Arkansas probably lost some sleep overnight due to frequent loud thunder. From 9 PM Saturday evening until 7 am today... there were approximately 11000 cloud to ground lightning strikes in Arkansas... according to lightning detection equipment. Between 1 and 2 am this morning... there were about 500 strikes in Pulaski County alone.
