Through 10 PM CST...the rain may be heavy at times...producing hourly rates over a half of an inch an hour locally. Over west Tennessee and northeast Mississippi...these heavy rainfall rates can go on for several hours. This will certainly fill small creeks and streams with ponding of water on the roadways. Across northeast Arkansas and northwest Mississippi...the steady rain will become more of a showery type...and will decrease in coverage. In addition...the winds will be southeast at 15 to 25 miles an hour...with gusts to 40 miles an hour.
