Nowcast | as of 9:48 PM CST on March 4, 2015

At 9:48 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to indicate bands of snow falling over eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. While these bands were lifting northeast at around 40 mph...the entire area was gradually shifting east. Through 11:30 PM...periods of light to occasional moderate snow will remain possible for areas primarily south of Interstate 44...with only flurries possible north of this line. Average hourly snowfall rates of less than one inch will remain common...with locally higher amounts to around one inch per hour possible with the heavier bands. This area will continue to gradually shift east with time. Many area roadways remain slick and hazardous. Motorists should exercise extreme caution if travel is necessary this evening.
