Nowcast | as of 3:50 PM CDT on July 5, 2015

At 3:50 PM...Doppler radars continued to indicate showers and thunderstorms across eastern Carroll County. Additional activity has developed over west-central Arkansas...as well as additional isolated activity scattered across eastern Oklahoma. Through 5:45 PM...showers and thunderstorms will continue over much of Carroll County...as well as much of Franklin and parts of Sebastian County. Additional development is possible elsewhere across northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma within the very warm and moist atmosphere in place across the area. Where thunderstorms occur there will be the potential for heavy downpours...gusty winds and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. The slow movement of this activity will increase the potential for localized flooding issues...especially where large clusters of thunderstorms form.
