Statement as of 5:46 AM CST on November 26, 2009 ... Freeze warning remains in effect until 9 am CST this morning... A freeze warning remains in effect until 9 am CST this morning. A reinforcement of colder and drier air has settled in across southeast Oklahoma and adjacent southwest Arkansas this morning. Temperatures have fallen to or below freezing across much of the warning area this morning... and will remain so until shortly after sunrise. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A freeze warning means sub freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. Residents are urged to protect any sensitive vegetation that will be exposed to these cold temperatures. 15
