At 4 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated scattered wintry precipitation continuing to effect far eastern sections of Oklahoma and the majority of northwest Arkansas. Many locations were now experiencing light rain with a mix of light snow and light sleet as temperatures continue to slowly warm. Through 5:30 PM...occasional light rain...light snow and light sleet will remain possible for far eastern Oklahoma and all of northwest Arkansas. The higher elevations of far southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas will primarily see light snow with a mix of light sleet. The heaviest of the precipitation during this time will occur across west-central Arkansas into far southeast Oklahoma.

Hazardous weather... * periods of light snow and sleet continue across far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The heaviest precipitation band extends from central Le Flore County northeast into eastern Carroll County. The snow and sleet will continue to transition to rain through the evening hours as temperatures warm above freezing. All precipitation is expected to come to an end later tonight.
* Less than one inch of additional snow and sleet accumulation is expected this afternoon... with little to no additional accumulation expected this evening.
