A cold front extending from hope Arkansas to west of Shreveport to east of Lufkin at 2 PM will continue moving east. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop along and ahead of this cold front. Through 4 PM... thunderstorms with very heavy rain and gusty winds will affect areas from southern Arkansas into western and central Louisiana into extreme eastern Texas. Frequent lightning and wind gusts over 40 mph will accompany the stronger thunderstorms. Some areas that could be affected by strong thunderstorms through 400 PM include Magnolia and Rosston in Arkansas...and Springhill and Shreveport in Louisiana. The shower and thunderstorm activity will move northeast at 25 mph.
