9 am CST Thursday...

* snow/sleet/ice accumulations... snow accumulations of 3 to 6
inches... sleet accumulations of 1 to 3 inches... and ice
accumulations of less than a quarter of an inch are expected.

* Timing... 9 am CST Wednesday morning to 9 am CST Thursday morning.

* Impacts... travel will become hazardous. Scattered power outages

the Black River at Black Rock.
* From Thursday afternoon until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 9:00 am Wednesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Thursday afternoon and
continue to rise to near 17.0 feet by Saturday.
* Impacts at 17.0 feet... low lying cultivated land and pastures in
Lawrence, Jackson, and Independence counties flood.
