	Lake Wind Advisory
Statement as of 3:13 AM CST on November 11, 2009 ... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 8 am this morning to 4 PM CST this afternoon... The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a lake Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 8 am this morning to 4 PM CST this afternoon. By mid-morning today... winds will become north at 15 to 25 mph... with higher gusts... on Grenada Lake... Lake Chicot... and Lake Providence. These winds are the result of the tight pressure gradient northwest of departing low pressure system. The pressure gradient will decrease late this afternoon... allowing the winds to diminish. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
