... The Flood Warning extended until Saturday afternoon... the Flood
Warning continues for
The Bayou Dorcheat near Springhill.
* Until Saturday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 PM Monday the stage was 11.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 12.0 feet by
tomorrow evening. The river will fall below flood stage Friday
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... minor lowland flooding of boat ramps. Move
livestock to higher ground.

... A major rise continues to make its way down the Red River
during the last day of November through the first week of

... Major flooding ongoing on the Sulphur river... the highest
stages since December of 2002...

... Major rise to develop on the Sabine River...

... Major flooding to develop along the Little River in southwest

A very heavy rainfall event has occurred across southern Oklahoma
and northern Texas... with widespread rainfall totals of four to
over eight inches.

... Red River...
a steep rise has developed on the Red River below Lake Texoma
and this rise will move downstream into southwest Arkansas and
northwest Louisiana during the first week of December.

* At Pecan Point... major flooding will develop on the Red River
   north of DeKalb Texas. The stage at 9 PM Monday was 30.0 feet.
   The Red River will rise and crest near 30.5 feet tonight. Flood
   stage at Pecan Point is 24 feet. This forecast crest at Pecan
   Point will be some 4.5 feet lower than what occurred during
   this past June... when the Red River crested at 35 feet on June
* Downstream at the index bridge on U.S. Highway 71 north of
   Texarkana... the Red River will crest near 20.71 feet Tuesday
   morning. The stage at 9 PM Monday was 19.34 feet. Flood stage
   at the index bridge is 25 feet.
* At Fulton Arkansas... the Red River will rise to near 20.3 feet
   during Tuesday. The stage at 9 PM Monday was 18.89 feet. Flood
   stage at Fulton Arkansas is 27 feet.
* At Shreveport Louisiana... the Red River will rise and crest
   near 28.5 feet Thursday. The stage at 9 PM Monday was 24.91
   feet. Flood stage at Shreveport is 30 feet.

... Sulphur river...
expect major flooding to continue on the Sulphur river of
northeast Texas.

* On the Sulphur river northeast of Talco Texas... the river has
   crested and will continue to slowly fall through this week. The
   stage at 9 PM Monday was 27.49 feet. The flood stage near
   Talco Texas is 20 feet. This was the highest crest on the
   Sulphur river near Talco Texas since that of December 18 of
   2002... when the river crested at 30.99 feet.

... Sabine River...
expect moderate flooding to develop on the Sabine River in
northeast Texas.

* At Mineola... the 9 PM Monday stage was 19.69 feet and is about
   to crest around 19.7 feet early Tuesday morning. Flood stage
   is 14.0 feet.
* Near Hawkins... the 9 PM Monday stage was 23.51 feet. The
   Sabine River will rise to near 33.2 feet by Thursday evening.
   Flood stage is 23 feet. Additional rises remain possible
* At Gladewater... the 9 PM Monday stage was 26.38 feet. The
   Sabine River is forecast to rise to moderate flood to near 35
   feet by Friday night... with additional rises possible
   thereafter. Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

... Little River...
expect moderate flooding to continue on the Little River in
southeast Oklahoma.

* At Idabel... the 9 PM Monday stage was 31.30 feet. The Little
   River has crested and will continue a slow fall through
   Tuesday. Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* At Horatio... the 9 PM stage reading was 29.22 feet. The Little
   River will rise to near 30 feet by Tuesday morning. Flood stage
   is 27 feet.
