At 1000 PM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and thunderstorms from New Market to Hytop to brideport in northeast Alabama. This line was moving toward the southeast around 20 mph and is expected to continue impacting portions of Madison and Jackson counties through 1030 PM...before the line moves into portions of Marshall and DeKalb counties through 1100 PM. Brief heavy downpours and occasional lightning are possible with this line of showers and thunderstorms.
