Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to move south at 10 to 15 mph over inland sections of southwest Alabama and southeast Mississippi through the course of the afternoon. Through 430 PM...areas north of a Wiggins... Citronelle... Monroeville line will see the heaviest activity. Additional isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across the rest of the area...including coastal sections. The primary threats from these storms will be brief...strong wind gusts...very heavy rain...and dangerous lightning.
