* at 326 PM CST a band of heavy rainfall... associated with the remnants of Tropical Depression Ida... was moving across central Alabama. This band of rain will produce up to another inch to inch and a half of rain in areas that have already received up to 3 inches of rain during the past 24 hours.

* locally heavy rain will be possible across parts of central Alabama this evening as the remnants of tropical system Ida across the area. Radar estimates that 2 to 4 inches of rain have already fallen across the watch area... and another 1.5 inches of rain is possible this evening. Ponding of water in low lying areas and stream rises are likely... and some flooding may occur.
