Flood Warning
Statement as of 9:17 AM CST on November 10, 2009
... Flood Warning extended until early this afternoon... the Flood Warning continues for The Bayou Sara at Saraland
* until this afternoon
* at 7am Tuesday the stage was 4.1 feet
* minor flooding is occurring and no flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 4.0 feet
* the river will fall to below flood stage by late this morning.
At 4.0 feet, flooding of streets begins and becomes widespread east of the
Railroad when the level reaches 5 feet.
Wind Advisory
Statement as of 9:31 AM CST on November 10, 2009
... Wind Advisory in effect until 6 PM CST this evening...
The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 6 PM CST this evening.
Strong winds of 25 to 35 mph... along with occasional gusts to around
40 mph will continue through today as Tropical Depression Ida moves
eastward.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 25 to 39 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
